Camels, The Ships of the Desert!

Camels, Persistence, and Endurance

Camels, the symbol of persistence, endurance and willingness!

Camels are an icon of Rajasthan in India and are a part of Desert landscape.

"Camels teach patience like no other animal, they are persistent, willing to work hard to cross a desert and reach the destination.."

Camels are used in agriculture, transportation, and various us domesticated tasks, while still being the primary source of transportation in the desert region. They carry fat in their humps and hence can walk for days in the desert without the need of water. While camels are highly versatile animals, their wool is of significant importance. The Bacterin camel is the primary type of camel which is the best and only source of wool in the world. The camel is expected to have two coats of fur, the upper coat which is not suitable to make a fabric, while it is the lower coat of fur which is very soft and fluffy and considered ideal for creating a camel wool yarn for fabric. The camels are expected to naturally shed their fur which can be collected for creating a yarn.

Therefore, the camel wool is very exclusive, it is simply the best luxury wool and targeted for luxury markets!

Camels remain economically very important for desert life and communities, all around the world. Camels are the official State animal of Rajasthan in India since 2015. In Rajasthan, Camels represent the cultural identity and are of utmost importance.
