The Bacterin camel is the primary type of camel which is the best and only source of wool in the world. The camel is expected to have two coats of fur, the upper coat which is not suitable to make a fabric, while it is the lower coat of fur which is very soft and fluffy and considered ideal for creating a camel wool yarn for fabric. The camels are expected to naturally shed their fur which can be collected for creating a yarn.
